And that is what Out And About Girls is All About!Trust me it's a lot of fun out here.
Kay Cummins, Metalsmith and Enamelist, Phoenix, AZ Kay specializes in working with found objects and unique settings. Adding vitreous enamel to the found objects awoke a passion for enameling. Kay has studied for 10 years with Master Enamelists. Chris Nelson introduced Kay to fusing hi-karat gold to steel. Alloying her own gold, forming and fabricating with these two diverse metals is challenging and rewarding. After Nelson's death in 2017, Kay has chosen to continue in this path and is now incorporating cloisonné enamel. Cummins works from her home studio and is an active member of The Enamelist Society and the Sonoran Arts League.  Her Out and About Girls line is bright, happy, and has unexpected objects in the design.  Her Steel and Gold work is edgy and has a sculptural feel with enamel and stones. Things to know about me:  I love; Working Smart, A great deal, Sharing Information, Teaching and Creative Approaches to Problem Solving, Honesty, Dogs and Miniature Donkeys and Great Food.   Things that bum me out:   Mean People, Sloppy Bezels, Unfinished Projects, Gossip and Jewelry that doesn't hang right on the body.
